Well Hung — FSHD Lindt Ball
Posted on July 23, 2012
Well Hung share their recent fashion creations for the FSHD Lindt Chocolate Ball.
A different kind of Lindt Ball… WELL HUNG was given the privilege to attend and work at the FSHD Lindt Chocolate Ball. This extraordinary annual charity event hosts the Australian Chocolate Couture Awards, and was held this year on July 14.
The eight finalists entered in this chocolate-inspired award were students of the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia. The event, hosted by Jamie Durie, asked the talented young designers of Australia to be engrossed by the rich delight of chocolate and design avant-garde garments. The garments were judged by Melissa Hoyer (fashion journlist, news.com.au), Charlie Brown (designer), David Clark (Vogue Living) and Sue-Ellen Dixon (CEO, Peep Toe Shoes).
The evening was filled with the delectable taste of chocolate and the visual delights of experimental fashion. Whitehouse student Thembekile Jila won a Dinosaur Designs sculpted trophy as well as internships with Melissa Hoyer, Charlie Brown, David Clark and Sue-Ellen Dixon.
The garments were photographed by Peter Steele as a part of the evening’s “couture entertainment”. Thank you to all the finalists: Keith Kho, Amy Johnson, Juli Panto Kesuma, Vanessa Moe, Janice Lealamanua, Katherine Justin, Thembekile Jila for letting the team from WELL HUNG coordinated the style the garments. And thanks to the hair team from Toni & Guy and the make-up team from Napoleon Perdis.
