Vance Joy — SXSW/New EP

Posted on March 18, 2013

Ahead of his EP launch, Vance Joy storms SXSW.

There is nothing like jet-setting from Melbourne to the US to play SXSW before even releasing an EP. Fortunately for Melbourne folk musician Vance Joy — this has become a reality.
Vance Joy’s swoon-worthy sounds are created by musician James Keogh, who has supported similar artists such as Angus Stone and Of Monsters and Men. His newly released single, Riptide, combines his soulful song writing with a ukulele to create a cute — and very catchy new track. His EP, God Loves You When You’re Dancing, is released on March 22.
On his return from the US, Vance Joy will be visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to launch the EP. I bet my uke that this guy is going to be a very big deal by his tour in April. Book a ticket and have a dance, because God will love you, apparently.

Thu Apr 18 – The Vanguard, Sydney

Wed Apr 24 – Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane

Sat Apr 27 – Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
