The Hills Collective

Designer Bianca Lentini shares The Hills Collective, a project created to illustrate the wonderful creative minds of the Dandenong Ranges.
In 2011, Bianca Lentini started The Hills Collective, a collection of the creative talent hidden in the Dandenong Ranges. Undertaken as an Honours project as part of her Bachelor of Visual Communication at Monash University, The Hills Collective showcased 15 artists and designers in an exhibition, online gallery and a fully produced and professionally printed book.
After the overwhelming success of the original project, Bianca is expanding her project further in 2012. Using a similar format, The Hills Collective is looking beyond artists and designers into the world of music, food, culture and lifestyle. Bianca’s goal is to showcase the work of 45 – 50 different people, to promote the creative talent coming from The Dandenong Ranges.
If interested in participating, please contact Bianca Lentini directly. You will be required to answer a short interview questionnaire about your work with regard to medium, ideas, creativity and the influence of your local community.
To help support Bianca’s fantastic project, Undercoat will present work from The Hills Collective as it progresses throughout the year.
