Finding My Place

Feeling like an outsider isn’t always about where you are in the world.

Despite the harsh landscape, so many people settle here. Aside from the incredible snow — which is the basis of its appeal — the living is relatively simple and uncomplicated. There are areas that have been completely overrun commercially, but there are also huge sections that are holding onto their history and heritage. That duality is an ongoing battle in the minds of people who need enough development to survive, but not so much that they become obsolete. Regardless, it feels like a place full of people who have found their niche in this world.
