Emily Saathoff — Recent Works

Emily Saathoff creates warped yet realistic illustrations.

I enjoy working with mesmerizing detail to create warped yet realistic illustrations that are inspired most often by the intricacies found in nature. My sketchbooks are full of alien flower patterns, imaginary coral designs, doodles of faces or textured still life’s I find around the house..and way too many birds. I always go back to the works of Teagan White, Justin Helton and Rachel M. Bray to fuel my ideas, which range from a classic and intricate pen work to loose patterns.
