Alishia Farnan — Plastic Flowers Never Die

Posted on August 16, 2012

Alishia Farnan documents a space so as to never forget.

‘Plastic Flowers Never Die’ is a series of images taken in the home of my maternal Grandparents, John and Lily.
Growing up I spent a considerable amount of time in this building and it alarmed me that the day could come when I would no longer be able to recall how it looked. After their passing I decided to document the space before it was cleared their possessions and subsequently put up for sale in a bid to never allow myself to forget.

Alishia Farnan studied to HND level at Edinburgh Napier University and will enrol into second year on Glasgow School of Art‘s Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Fine Art Photography.
